Golf has always belonged to the landscape. Here, among the towering pines, rolling sand, and spring-fed ravines of East Texas, every round follows the natural rhythm of the land.
Whether you're joining us for your first visit or returning as a Founder, we're honored to have you here. This guide will help you prepare for your visit and make the most of your time at Wild Spring Dunes.
ARRIVAL
We recommend arriving at least 45 minutes before your tee time to allow time for check-in, warming up, and meeting your caddie before heading to the first tee.

From Dallas: Take I-20 East toward Kilgore, then TX-135 South and US-259 to Wild Spring Dunes.
From Houston: Take I-69/US-59 North toward Nacogdoches, then continue north on US-259 to Wild Spring Dunes.
From Shreveport: Take US-79 South toward Carthage, then TX-315 West and US-259 to Wild Spring Dunes.
When You Arrive
Upon arrival, our valet team will greet you and assist with your clubs and personal belongings. While you check in and prepare for your round, we'll take care of the rest so you can settle in and enjoy the experience from the moment you arrive.
Practice Facilities
Our full practice facility is currently under development. A complimentary pre-round stretching area is available. Guests are welcome to warm up at the hitting area adjacent to The Hitching Post before their round.
Food & Beverage
The Hitching Post offers breakfast and lunch items, grab-and-go snacks, and beverages to enjoy before or after your round. Additional food and beverage options are available on the course.
Wild Spring Dunes operates within a dry alcohol precinct. Guests wishing to purchase alcoholic beverages will be asked to complete a complimentary Private Liquor Club registration upon arrival.
THE COURSE & LAND
Here, rolling sandhills rise beneath towering pines, native grasses sway across open meadows, and spring-fed ravines shape the landscape. Rather than reshape the land, architect Tom Doak routed each hole to follow its natural contours, creating a course that feels as though it has always belonged here.
Designed to be walked and enjoyed at an unhurried pace, Wild Spring Dunes rewards imagination, thoughtful shot-making, and an appreciation for the land that makes every round unique.

CADDIES
A caddie is one of the best ways to experience Wild Spring Dunes. Beyond providing yardages and reading greens, our caddies help you navigate the course, keep play moving, and allow you to focus on enjoying your round.
Pro Caddie
A pro caddie carries two bags (you and playing partner) for your round and provides:

Club recommendations
General course knowledge
Fee: $150 per player (base gratuity included)
Forecaddie
A forecaddie doesn’t carry bag but walks with your group and provides:
Yardages
Green reading
Course strategy
Ball spotting
Pace of play assistance
Fee: $50 per player (base gratuity included)
Good to Know
Caddies are assigned prior to your arrival.
Preferred caddie requests are welcome but cannot be guaranteed.
Please let our Reservations Team know in advance if anyone in your group has mobility limitations or special requests.
There is no ATM on property.

Proper golf attire is required. Collared shirts and golf shoes are recommended. Denim, cutoffs, and other non golf attire are not permitted.

Guests are welcome to warm up before their round using the hitting net and stretching area located next to The Hitching Post. While a full driving range is not currently available, these amenities provide an opportunity to get loose before your round.

Yes. Wild Spring Dunes operates as a private club. Guests will complete a complimentary Private Club registration upon arrival before purchasing alcoholic beverages.

While on site lodging is not yet available, we recommend The Fredonia Hotel in downtown Nacogdoches. Our Reservations Team can assist with booking information.

Reservations may be canceled up to 30 days before your scheduled tee time for a full refund of your deposit. Cancellations made within 30 days will forfeit the deposit.
